I was born in Iași, Romania in 1995 and my passions for most throughout my teenage years revolved around playing music. I went on to study computer science and started working as a programmer soon after beginning my studies.

    My interest in painting grew somewhat later, after I moved to Berlin in 2016. That's where I started taking evening figure drawing classes with local teachers and doing weekly plein air painting with a group of friends. After the pandemic restrictions started lifting up, I briefly moved to Buenos Aires, where I studied with Ariel Gulluni and Rocio Moreno for around a year, getting introduced more to academic techniques. Since 2023 I live in Barcelona and I'm taking figure drawing classes at the Barcelona Academy of Art.

    Painting outdoors is what I enjoy the most, and it's the result of all the academic training I did, careful observation of nature and deliberate study of "old master" paintings.
